What is the size of the Virginia's Jewel?
Virginia's Jewel is 100 feet long and 20 feet wide. Our vessel acccomodates groups up to 149 people.
Where will we go on our Virginia's Jewel cruise?
Ordinarily, the Jewel travels the Lynnhaven Inlet beginning in the Linkhorn Bay through the Narrows at First Landing State Park and into Broad Bay at Long Creek. For a map of the Virginia's Jewel route, click here.
What is the duration of the cruise?
Normally, cruises are 2 or 2.5 hours. Private Charters are usually 3 hours long (30 minutes boarding and 2.5 hours cruising) and additional cruise or dockside time can be purchased.
What is the price to take a cruise on the Virginia's Jewel?
Public Cruises range from $16 to $48 per person (excluding taxes, port charges, gratuity and the Full Cash Bar).
Private Charters vary depending on the day of the week, time of day, Menu Packages, Bar Options, etc.
Is gratuity included with the pricing?
Gratuity is NOT included in your Public Cruise ticket price.
Gratuity of 20% is added to your food and beverage purchases on Private Charters ONLY.
Is entertainment provided?
Entertainment varies on public cruises. See our current cruise schedule.
For our Private Charters, full service theme party productions are available including DJ, Casino or Live Entertainment.
Is the Virginia's Jewel mobility impaired accessible?
Yes! The Virginia's Jewel is mobility impaired friendly! Onboard we have a chair elevator to take you to the top deck of the vessel.
Where do I park?
There is free, limited on-site parking available at the vessel.
Can the Virginia's Jewel accomodate weddings?
The Jewel is capable of having weddings on board. We also offer 3 Site Options for the Wedding Ceremony. Contact us for more information.
